This thread isnt to complain or anything like that.
Last weekend I jumped into the Caldari Prime event with everything I had. It was a heck of a lot of fun, the scenery change was surprising, the titan was beautiful and the nebulae above were also very nice.
The lore was also bad ass and I kind of had the incentive to fight harder for the Caldari and pull out/ screw around when paired with Gallente.
But literally just checked the event rewards because I was so excited about the new suits thinking that CCP was going to do something cool like the Black Eagles suit. I just got up and am about to go off to work, and I check them out.
To my eyes the Gallente suit is nothing more than a bulk standard militia scout suit...hardly the drab khaki/ urbanised combat suit of the Gallente I expected.
The Caldari one has a slightly darker grey tone to the armour plates and glowing blue eyes, and while kind of cool, its still not really that different from the basic type 1 assault suit.
Since most people dont even use the suits in combat and either relagate them to the dusty depths of their armoury, or use them as avatar skins its slightly sad to see how basic they are.
Great Event CCP, thanks for the epic show case of terrain and back ground changes, but the rewards were kind of lack lustre for defending an entire planet. |

Thats odd because I got two sets of ten. Thought I was in the weekend event as well as the US time zone event. |

I relent its still kind of cool with those blue eyes, the navy shoulder strips, all thats missing is a Caldari State Logo! |

See I would have bought them......but they are just plain ol type 1's
